Do I need a building permit?
If you’re asking the question, then more than likely you do! That said there are certain building works exempted by the Building Regulations 2018 from the requirement to be obtain a permit. The Victorian Building Authority’s Practice note 32 provides general details on exempted works- that said you might just be better served by getting in contact with us for a no obligation consultation.
